We are qualified and registered In-service Inspection & Testing of Electrical Equipment (Older name of PAT) tester. It is not compulsory for landlords or companies in the UK to have PAT test their appliances, IT equipment and all other devices with plug, however the owner of these items is responsible for them to make sure they are in a safe and suitable condition for use and complies with current legislation.

This includes the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, the Code of Practice for In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment, and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998. The use of untested appliances may also invalidate your insurance.
